our wedding coffeetable book
before we headed to the alps, hubby was given by his company a gift voucher to be used for so many things in australia. we've decided to use it with a company that does coffeetable books and picture collages. and guess what? we are the first for their wedding sample... and because of that, our wedding is now in their website. i think it's just too cool! :) here's their website... and our album! the company is called lifecatchers. rindya-desalpe
again, i've been slacking on blogging. been going out and about in switzerland every weekend, touring mother dear and ourselves as well - i will be posting on those trips hopefully soon. in the meantime, we are looking forward to this weekend, here's where we'll be on saturday: in summary: every autumn, cows are set to go down from the mountains to find shelter from the freezing winter of the alps. they made a festival of this tradition, where nombreux troupeaux fleuris - meaning, numbers of herds will be all dressed up, with the traditional bell on their necks and flowers on their heads and the people will be in their national costumes, as well! it is a very swiss festival we are looking forward to it! and by the way, the town is where the famous swiss gruyere cheese is made, so we will be doing our own "milking" as well! :) here's praying for a good weekend weather! :) Labels: holidays, swiss life |

farewell, AML02M
it's the end of the road for our dear AML02M for us... we left the land downunder with our reliable CRV under the care of good friends J&K to help us sell it. in as much as we would like to keep it, we couldn't. if only we can bring it along with us, we would have! but we had to leave it and let it go... and after 6 months of waiting, it is time to say goodbye. i'm sure the new owners will have more happy trips with our dear car. farewell, AML02M... you've given us one great ride! couldn't have given a better "tribute" than J's :) our heartfelt thanks to you, dear J&K! we truly appreciate all your help!
