    pure joy
All the diapering, feeding, kissing, and cuddling you've been doing for the last two months will be rewarded now with a real beaming baby smile — and when you see it, you'll know the meaning of pure joy! His past smiles were probably involuntary or the result of passing gas. These are the true "I'm happy" signs.

i can only agree to babycenter's newsletter for my 2-month & 2-week old. it is indeed just pure joy to see those toothless smiles! and i was able to capture one, just in time to prepare a thank you card for his baptism.

and here's my little cutie... sharing the joy! :)

    vitamin D
i never realized there was an issue with vitamin d supplement for babies until i posted a question in one of my egroups on how to make my almost 2-month old take it without objection. the responses i received were all very good. but some of them said they didn't give the supplement to their kids. i wondered why so i googled it and found a lot. here's a good article about vitamin D. click here to read the article.
