our new dslr
 yahooo!!!! i just received today our new dslr canon 350d! and i got it 40% off the retail price. :) we've always wanted a dslr, but found it to be too expensive. well, lo and behold! my officemate's wife works with canon and they get up to 40% discount for employee purchases. now, who can resist that??? i ordered a week ago and now it's with me! but we're still missing a compact flash, the box doesn't come with it. so it's not fully functional yet. too bad hubby wasn't able to bring it to his trip to switzerland this week. oh, well! next time... and hopefully with us! :) now my next target is a compact digital camera... to bring with me anywhere. i'm looking at the canon powershot a620. but i'll schedule that next week! yiha! :) too excited, april :) |

a kuya soon
 you read it right! franco is going to be a kuya in about 33 weeks' time. we're all excited... and a bit nervous as well! :) like what they say, every pregnancy is different, and indeed it's right in my case. it feels all new, can't remember having morning sickness with franco. with this pregnancy, i feel tired, nauseous and have a mettalic taste for everything i eat. i hope the first trimester sickness will end soon and hopefully, better days for the rest of pregnancy! :) we're not really wishing for any particular gender, we're happy whatever the baby will be... and praying that he or she is happy, normal and healthy! :) |

dvd renting spree
 last sept. 12, i joined an officemate who returned her dvd's to the store. she said she's been borrowing and exchange 2 dvd's a day for the past week... i was curious! the video store currently have a promo, it's $9.95 a month and you can borrow 2 dvd's (or tapes, games, etc.) at a time. but you can't borrow the new releases yet. i didn't mind not being able to borrow the new ones. we missed so much movies, anyway. last time i was in the cinemas was probably over a year ago. so now, i'm borrowing about 2 dvd's every two days. not bad at all! :) dvd's rented so far (sep 13-30): the notebook love actually starsky and hutch bridget jones diary 2 stepford's wives elektra million dollar baby the last samurai i.q. suddenly 30 i'm sure i rented some more but i can't remember exactly which righ now! :) |
