15 in 24
that's 15 pieces of nappies in 24 hours. SA seems to be enjoying changing nappies! last thursday, from 10pm until friday night, baby brother was able to soil 15 nappies! i felt like crying seeing the nappies pile up, as that would mean we need to buy more! ;p he seemed to poop every after feeding and of course pees every now and then. i don't remember experiencing this with FL. but good news for us, our 3-week old seems to be having "regular" nappy changes now. i think he's just using about 7 nappies in 24 hrs. the pooping has decreased, as well.. well, at least not every after feeding. :) as they say, it will get better! can't wait for him to sleep thru the night, though! :) |

whew!
1. no, not yet... 2. yes, i still am... these are the answers that are mainstays in my emails right now. friends ask (1.) if i've already given birth -or- (2.) if i'm still pregnant. my due date is june 8th, i have to admit, it was a relief to not have given birth yesterday... you know, june 6, 2006... it's more of the worry of having my child bear the mockery of being born on the date that (as a friend of mine stated) "This Day, June 6, 2006 Marked the Numbers in Revelation". heavy stuff, huh? well, good news for him, it's already june 7th and i'm still pregnant and running my 40th week. looks like it's not meant to be. funny that some relatives and friends were actually (and some secretly) do not want me to give birth on that day, as well. i didn't, too. but if that is the day, then what can i do? i must admit i was counting the hours of that day and keeping a close watch on any signs of labor. but those are to be the least of our worries, what we are constantly praying for right now is to have a safe, relatively easy and complication-free delivery and a healthy, normal and happy baby. we still have plans for the weekend so, it would be just fine if our little angel stays put... say, until sunday? :) |
