we're here!
 our personal effects were delivered april 21st, finally! that's 169 items altogether... about 130 boxes and the rest are the furnitures and other big items. after 2 and 1/2 months from the day they packed our things on feb. 3rd we were very anxious of our shipment's arrival... so we can begin the hard work of unpacking and arranging stuff. it's now 2 and 1/2 weeks since our shipment arrived and there's still a bit of work to do. we spent a lot of time attending to the kitchen stuff, i never realized i had so much kitchen paraphernalia! but looking at them now, i seem to want to get rid of a lot of things.... which i did! :) planning to get some new stuff again, heehee! :p the movers attended to assembling the dining table, lounge set and tv unit among others. they were not able to set-up the bed and the crib, they could not find the legs and the screws and bolts. now that's another work to do, and some more small stuff that were damaged during the shipment. hopefully, we'll get to fix the house very very soon, we don't want a lot of mess when the new addition arrives. pressure, pressure! :) |
